Re: Attention: B&G Members

This is more than just a "Mere" website.

This is my sixth year of membership here, and look forward to another 6 years.

I have made some really close friends on this site, and have lost a really close friend on this site. I can't thank Halo, Pak, QBrees, Hagan, Cher, Papz and countless others, enough for making this site what it is.

Great News, Great updates and GREAT MEMBERS!

Thanks HALO!

C, yes.. but I dont know how much I was able to yell. Mostly I was stunned. I think I did that thing girls do when they win Miss America.

The Super Bowl was all gravy for me. I mean, you bet I wanted to win, and shut up a lot of people... and I was concerned when we were down 10-0.... but I swear it still hasnt really sunk in...... My sense of reality would more easily absorb an alien landing on the freeway.

But the NFC Championship--- I needed it. I needed us to win it. Anything less than a win would have felt like another sad, cursed ending, especially since we were leading late in the game. We needed to win the NFC, and we needed to win that game, and not lose it. Only after the crowd on my side of the Dome went nuts, did I realize where we were going. ...Then I turned into Miss America....

Ive never been so happy to walk on the streets in New Orleans. What a sweet memory.

That is a good question, however you left one option out. I think for me it was a tie. The interception of Favre and the non-play just before that, the 12 men on the field penalty call that took them out of field goal range. I lost it when the yellow flag was thrown. I think I scared my wife. I knew immediately that that flag was going to give us a chance to win the game and Porter came through for us. I'm getting chill bumps right now just thinking about it.

Re: Attention: B&G Members

You know, they keep saying Favre could have ran for a couple of yards. Which Saints LB is that directly in front of him? Is that Shanle? At best Favre gets to the 33-- very likely worse-- a 51 yard FG... not a gimme by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, Scott Norwood was a 51 yard attempt. What does everyone say about that one? Oh, the Bills should have went for 5 more to give him a real chance. Favre was going for 10 more to give him a real chance.

And that announcer..."Take a knee and kick a 56 yarder?" Wow, I didnt realize Tom Dempsey was back in the league.

....whining, blaming, and what ifs...

Its nice to be US now.
