Here is my amatuer take on Loomis' comments:

The Brees deal will probably get done AFTER the Manning and Brady deals get done. He will receive less than both but will be in the ballpark.

The Jahri Evans deal still has to be worked out and the Saints are probably waiting on money to flow in from season ticket renewals to sign him. Sharper is low on his list of TO DO items right now.

Reggie Bush will have to renegotiate next year.

DE and DT appear to be a bigger concern right now than LB to the team.

To all the talking head morons saying the Saints are celebrating too much right now. Shove it.

Loomis gave just enough information, vague, to say something and yet not too much.
That is what a person does in his position.
Fans, media are satisfied with just enough tidbits and are not in the dark, but at the same time, there is no need to put everything out there.
Fine by me.
I like that.
I also trust these people got the Saints to SB winners and they will get their business straight with signing the right players .
