With so many players returning on defense, can the defense be as good as it looks on paper?

For instance, I am impressed we were able to add a guy like Alex Brown. Brown usually finishes each season with around 5-7 sacks and a good number of tackles. Adding him to the other guys we already have and our defensive line! It looks like our D-line is as good as anyone in the league.

I am not ever talking about our offense here. It might not even be fair this year to the rest of the teams in the NFC South. I think we might have to play with both of our hands tied behind our backs to give teams like the Falcons a chance. I almost feel sorry for their fans ... Almost.

Based on past experience.... Nope.

Still, I see what they are doing. Shut down secondary, a superior pass rush and best offense in the league.

Sounds like a reciept for success.

All the reports sound really good, Vilma has been saying that the D is light years above what it was last year. They have stopped our Offense the past couple of training camps and shut them out. We finally have great depth, i want to see what we can do against the run because we all know we are good against the pass. Preseason will show us alot!

I believe with another year in the system, all of our guys on d, will be considerably better. Against the run, especially. I hope.
