I know injuries happen to all teams, but the Saints have had more than their fair share this year. It seems like most of the serious injuries have happend on the old turf in the superdome. Hopefully, with the new \"atro play turf\" it will eliminate some of these injuries.

The Saints now have an indoor practice facility with \"field tuf\" and will also be playing on \"field turf\" in the super dome. Both were long overdue. We need to keep all of our players healty for the stretch run and hopefully the returning players will be the missing peice of the puzzle. I know I\'m ready to see Darrin Howard and Charles Grant on the field together. Should create some interesting problems of opposing offenses.

I read a report last month that showed that teams that get new turf seem to have more lower body injuries (legs, knees, ankles, groin etc) than teams that played (and practices) on the same turf the previous year.

Maybe there\'s something to it, maybe not.

Anyway if it is true we should see these types of injuries decrease next year.

Of course how could they not.
