When are we gonna learn how to cover the TE

They are still killing us. Payton and Williams seem to be masters of adjustments when we are having problems in a specific area, but this is one that seems to be becoming a trend. We will have to face some pretty damn good TEs in the playoffs. I have a feeling that TE play could be what brings us down eventually.

That freaking rub play pass to the TE in the flat was driving me crazy all game. You're so right, 504, that it seemed we didn't know we COULD make an adjustment much less recognize that they threw that pass 8 times! And backs out of the backfield? Never heard of them, or maybe never knew they were legally eligible to catch a forward pass.

We desparately need lb help. Vilma can't do it alone. Shanle and clark aren't fast enough to cover te's and backs

I read an article saying Shanle as one of the worst pass coverers in the NFL. I

NFL : Shutdown Corner - Yahoo! Sports Blog
""Outside Linebacker: Zach Diles, Houston Texans/Scott Shanle(notes), New Orleans Saints
Diles is the Texans' Swiss army knife; he's replaced Brian Cushing(notes) and DeMeco Ryans(notes) in various packages over the last year, but he really stands out as an appealing target for enemy quarterbacks. He's got a 23 percent Stop Rate against the pass and has been involved in 39 pass plays, with no picks and no passes defensed. Moving between weakside and strongside this season after losing battery mate Scott Fujita(notes) to the Browns, Shanle has racked up the worst Stop Rate against the pass (19 percent) of any outside linebacker. Pass plays in his general direction have averaged 9.6 yards -- we're no math professors, but when you're almost giving up a first down per play, that's not good.""

Saints proved that pigs could fly in 2009.
Now its time for another miracle SuperBowl and go where no pig has gone before.

Its Really frustrating when Shanle can't stop passes getting thrown against him, and not only that - he doesn't make a sure tackle after they have caught it against him. I still prefer Danny Clark to be the starter at that position, put Shanle on Special teams or something.

I like that we have Pat Robinson from last years draft, i would have hoped that Stanley Arnoux would develop into the guy to take that spot, but truth is he just can't stay healthy, and he doesn't look like the dominant player he did at Wake Forest which is disappointing.

We Need to trade up in the draft to get a Stud OLB, because we won't get one at #32 again in the draft

Refs were totally blind to a lot of crap out there. You know they did a bad job when even the announcers are showing what they missed. Austin's TD should never have been a TD and we should have won by ten instead of three. We could have used some Sharper out there, but there I go, giving woman love to Sharper again....
