Incentive to get back to the Super Bowl

Last year when the Celtics played the Lakers in LA, the Celtics head coach had every player give him $100.

The coach took that money and hid it in the stadium and told the team the only way they could get their money back was to come back and get it.

Although the Celtics lost the NBA Finals, (the money was still there when the Celtics played the Lakers on the road), IMO that was a great motivational tool.

I wonder if Payton knew about that story, if he would have considered doing the same thing?

I have a feeling Payton reminded them after the game Thursday that they want to return to Dallas in Feb just like he did last year in Miami
