New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees still believes his team is in its prime and that the Saints have a chance to do great things.

But he said this season proved that it's never easy.

"I think clearly we are not a one-shot wonder," Brees said when the phrase was presented to him in a question Tuesday. "We've been able to sustain a pretty high level of performance over the last five years. I believe we have the most wins in the NFC in the last five years. That's saying something. I feel like in order to win a championship, things have to come together. It's not easy, certainly not easy. What we accomplished last year was unbelievable. I feel like we can do it again, and it might be with some new faces. It obviously will because of the turnover form year to year. But I feel like we've got the core pieces in place.

He's exactly right, watch us get a running game, some new talent on D, with a good running game Drew will be his normal sharp shooter self and we will be a force in the NFC once again.

We finished with a ton of injuries, and we finished with the 2nd best record in the NFC.

We were a chip shot FG away from the best record in the NFC and the #1 seed.

For anyone to even suggest that we might be a 1-shot wonder is assinine

Bingo Danno.

Dizzel, you're right on as well.

Heal, reload and be right back in it next year. Our schedule says "playoffs"

Well, interceptions included, Drew still pulled his load.

Some did not. Especially this last weekend in Seattle.
