Projected mock picks for the New Orleans Saints

The Saints will select Purdue DE Ryan Kerrigan with their first-round pick (No. 24 overall) in SportingNews.com's latest mock draft. Kerrigan would help fill a need as the Saints could use a pass rusher.

Several other teams are after this guy as well.

I like what I see in this guy he can cover he can come off the end and pass rush but I didn't see him stop the run can he stop the run is he a good tackler.

I think if we go defense the entire draft we're going to get some good players no matter who they go with

I like Kerigan, but not much else.

Actually I just did some research on Clayborn, and he looks like a solid LDE prospect.

He looks like he may be what Charles Grant was supposed to be.

what u guys think of heyward ohio state?

SaintPauly 04-02-2011 04:32 PM

I'm sorry guys, but I have a feeling in my gut, that we are going to take a RB with the first pick. And I have no problems with that, considering if we had a healthy RB last season, that could move the chains, the defense isn't on the field so long, therefore they aren't exhausted by the third quarter.
