The Saints will select Purdue DE Ryan Kerrigan with their first-round pick (No. 24 overall) in SportingNews.com's latest mock draft. Kerrigan would help fill a need as the Saints could use a pass rusher.

The Saints will select OLB Justin Houston of Georgia.

The Saints will select Georgia OLB Justin Houston with their first-round pick (No. 24 overall) in the latest mock drafts at Yahoo.com and SI.com.

Saints may actually pull it off if they take him early.

NFL.com's Pat Kirwan tweeted and tabbed Ohio State DE Cameron Heyward as the Saints' first-round pick.

I like what I see in this guy he can cover he can come off the end and pass rush but I didn't see him stop the run can he stop the run is he a good tackler.

I think if we go defense the entire draft we're going to get some good players no matter who they go with

I like Kerigan, but not much else.

Actually I just did some research on Clayborn, and he looks like a solid LDE prospect.

He looks like he may be what Charles Grant was supposed to be.

I'm sorry guys, but I have a feeling in my gut, that we are going to take a RB with the first pick. And I have no problems with that, considering if we had a healthy RB last season, that could move the chains, the defense isn't on the field so long, therefore they aren't exhausted by the third quarter.
