Undrafted free agents

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Will the teams be able to sign guys that did not get drafted or will that have to wait until the lockout is lifted. Who should the Saints pursue?...

Undrafted free agents are frozen until the lockout is lifted; I'm almost sure.

Until you brought this up, I entirely forgot all about this. I have a feeling there are going to be quite a few tampering allegations going around before the lockout ends.

Mark Herzlich - one hell of a story, would be even better if he succeeded on a team. Even if it is not ours!!!! First guy I would take a look at.

I agree Cat. Everything I read and heard about this dude is outstanding. Sad that the rod slowed him down at the combine but he'll get used to the leg and won't favor it as much as time goes on. He's going to prove someone wrong.

I'd love to pick up Herzlich, who'll surely end up in New England for the next 12 years and Kendrick Berney, who'll end up in Carolina.
