Saints released LB Stanley Arnoux and LS Jason Kyle.

Arnoux likely failed his physical after tearing his Achilles' tending for a second straight season. Kyle was deemed unworthy of his $865,000 salary. Related:

A little bit suprised that Arnoux was released, kind of disappointing to say that i was really high on the kid when he and chip vaughn both came out of Wake forest, just couldnt stay healthy long enough to make any reason for us to keep him around.

That's too bad. Maybe he can get healthy and find a team. Officially 50% of our draft picks in '09 have been released. Not good.

Health is all part of the game, I like the kid but wanna pay someone to play then sit.

About the 50% of our draft picks from 09 are gone. We had 4, the other two are going to be with the saints for a looong time. we only had 1 pick in the first 3 rounds.

If he's unhealthy though, he'll probably be around for a phone call later. He already knows the ropes. I hope we don't need his services, but hey...

Whats amazing is that both were 4 year starters in college and never missed a game. Both come to the NFL and get IR'd before ever playing a down.

What a shame. Very sad. Here's a kid who has it all right in front of him and suddenly it just gets snatched away from him.
