Sources claim Randy Moss seen at Saints facility{Speculation}

1 Attachment(s)
With starting Marques Colston now out for four weeks with a broken collarbone and Lance Moore's status still unknown with a groin injury, the New Orleans Saints are down to four healthy wide receivers. It isn't odd that they would start looking for a viable veteran to possibly step in for a few weeks and sources are saying that recently retired Randy Moss is one of them.

WWL is reporting that Moss is indeed a person of interest for the Saints as they deal with injuries to their wide receiving corps. Several sources are stating that Moss was indeed at the team's Airline Highway facility on Saturday, September 10, 2011.

Moss recently retired after 13 seasons in the NFL after most recently playing for the Tennessee Titans.

More on this story as it develops.

It'd be incredibly ironic if won a ring with the Saints, especially since he worships the Patriots. With Colston out, I don't see what it can hurt. I really don't think Moss is near as bad as some of the other receivers as far as personality. If he's committed to sitting back and allowing Brees to do his thing, I don't see a problem. If he turns out to be a problem, just cut him. That is if he's still got something in the tank.

I agree... What the f-ck... Give Brees a guaranteed deep threat - even if he just draws coverage - It will open up the middle for the usual targets. His drama is less important than the fear he might create. Plus, He's grown. I could see SP sharing some juicy fruit with him.
