If it quiets all the Moss-TO nonsense, I'm all for it.

mighty12 09-12-2011 11:02 AM

Drew would make T.J. Look beast-mode again. 1 year contract and TJ is relavent again. IMHO

strato 09-12-2011 11:04 AM

Dude looked old and slow last year..Moss would be better IMO ..I think Roby could help pick up the slack...if givin the chance..

Halo 09-12-2011 11:17 AM

Houshmandzadeh is an option. If the Saints are in contact they definitely think we need help. Colston out 4 weeks, what's the status of Lance Moore?

If he could shine as he did with the steelers we'd be in business (sproles looks rejuvinated so far)! The same thing could've been said for Moss and a T.O...I'm pretty sure he runs intermediate routes well, but the question is does he have "CHARACTER ISSUES"?j/k lol If Mickey and Sean says not to worry I'm alright with it.I'm not a GM or HC!You can never have enough weapons.I'll take "who's ya mama!" lol@Sf and Strat I forgot about that commercial man:bng:

Pete it was the Bengals back in the 90s...lol...JK man

FinSaint 09-12-2011 11:56 AM

Housh is definitely a better option than Moss (who has already retired) and he was a real threat with the Bengals. The Seahawks move was bad for him and he got lost with the Ravens. He runs good routes and has very good hands - both of which would make him shine with Brees distributing the ball.

I think he and Meachem could compliment each other very nicely, if given the chance.

jnormand 09-12-2011 11:57 AM

I'd rather sign him then Moss IMHO. I don't think he has the issues or would be as much of a distraction. Can you imagine all the damn press if Moss got signed?

st thomas 09-12-2011 12:02 PM

seattle was a career killer for housmanzata. the guy was a fantasy stud at cincy but was a long time ago. at 1 time last season i had mentioned about giving him a shot because a lot what yall are saying is true, drew would rejuvinate this guy.

Budsdrinker 09-12-2011 12:04 PM

If the Saints are looking that means Moore is injuried worse than they are saying. How many groin injuries have become sports hernias?

crawgator 09-12-2011 12:11 PM

strato 09-12-2011 03:13 PM

No wonder he is out of work..CANCER!

Houshmandzadeh signed a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens on September 6, 2010 for the veteran league minimum of $855,000. However, since his $7 million salary with the Seattle Seahawks was guaranteed in his previous contract, Seattle paid him the remaining $6.15 million for 2010. During his short and disastrous tenure in Baltimore, "Housh" mustered only 30 receptions for 398 yards. He managed to score only 3 touchdowns, although one of them won Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the 2010 Divisional Playoff loss vs. Pittsburgh, Houshmandzadeh dropped a critical pass which would've converted a third down and potentially changed the outcome of the game. That, combined with his constant complaining and general poor play, lead to him not being re-signed. He remains a free agent. "If I go to the right team I'll shock a lot of people," he said.[7]

saintfan 09-12-2011 03:17 PM

Maybe we're the 'right' team? Drew ain't gonna stand for an uprising.

strato 09-12-2011 03:19 PM

Like Pete said can you imagine the signs in the stands...lol

People were worried about the attitude of a certain Mr Shockey when he was signed for the Saints!!!!!!!!!!!

Look how he fitted in, most fans wanted him to stay!

Just a thought!

The only shot we'd have to be broadcasted live would be on HBO after those signs filled the stands! What a thought......:bng:
