We don't have a high motor guy on defense. I think we made a mistake letting Hargrove walk.

Hargrove..Sharper to man the backend...Danny Clarke....Randall Gay...Goodwin...Remi..we supposedly upgraded ..i dont see it...only thing we upgraded was the kicker..

Difference is Malcolm Jenkins is a free safety and provides coverage help to our corners over the top. Harper on the other hand is a strong safety who plays in the box.

Make the playoffs and it's a whole new ball game. The Colts, Giants, and our very own Saints have shown we can get it down defensively when it matters the most... regardless of regular season defensive statistics.

There's really only 1 thing wrong with our defense. The front 4.

If the front four can't get pressure, all 7 players on the backend will be exploited throughout the entire game. Thats why Jenkins, Porter, Greer, Harper, Vilma, Shanle, Dunbar, all got burned throughout the entire game.

It all starts up front. If that doesn't improve you'll see our LB's and DB's exploited again and again.

Yes it certainly didn't help having Freeman standing still in the pocket waiting for his receivers to get open. You can only stay with your man for so long.

Agree with Danno, front four is getting no pressure. Offense can't have a off day or we lose every time.

if Drew and the offense was scoring on each or every other possesion; then the defense is mentally pumped up.

With the offense going 3 and out or turning the ball over as soon as they step on the field; the mental toughness goes out the window.

I place the blame of the loss soley on the offense. Drew was off, most of the offense was off. Our defense is noting to win a game for us, this year. They just aren't that strong.

Now, they had their bad (for some reason the word "bad" just doesn't seem to be a good enough word) I think we will be fine.

I do agree with Euph. I place the defensive play, blame, square on GW. This defense and defensive scheme is not working. AT ALL.

Totally agree. Offense does not help the defense at all. I talk about the defense just a much as the next guy. They gave up 20pts in the first half but only 6 in the second. Where in the hell is the offense? The defense is horrible in the first half let's just face it but they get their chit together when it counts. IMHO, the reason we are down so fast and so often is because they are always on the damn field. It takes the offense until mid-fourth qtr to realize they are in a game.

They/we keep screaming about how hi-powered and potent our offense is. Well, PROVE IT!!!!

Because each and everytime the other team scores, guess who takes the field? Exactly....

Need LB's and help with the d line to start. Once again, this always seems to be brought up, over and over.
