Payton is the first head coach suspended by the league for any reason. He is accused of trying to cover up a system of extra cash payouts that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell called "particularly unusual and egregious" and "totally unacceptable

Adam Shefter or whatever his wuss name is, is a coward. That was the lamest interview I've ever seen. Why didn't he ask if GOD-dell was going to continue the investigation into the other 31 teams. From everything I'm hearing from God-dell, he's sticking it to the Saints and letting everyone else off the hook with his ultimatum. That should also be grounds for a law suit.

He works for the NFL Network, which a NFL owned media outlet, so it's a given that they will approach the whole thing from a certain perspective.
