When this first leaked, Shockey was the first person who came to mind as the snitch BUT I hope that it is not him. I was hoping it was someone I already hated.

Nothing is a secret these days, so this has to come out for sure eventually. I hope it is sooner rather than later.

Also that sounds just about right he was unhappy with being released.

I'm not going to throw Shockey under the bus based on something Warren Sapp said with no proof. Sapp isn't exactly the most trustworthy guy...

And you guys are forgetting that Sapp is a so called analyst now..... He's closer to the source than we are....

I don't think he would have called him out like that, without some sort of proof....... Just me... And btw, the charges against Sapp were dropped....

Sharper said previously that he knew who the snitch was... Maybe, just maybe that information started spreading and Sapp let it be known. It's nothing to joke about calling someone a snitch and I'm sure Warren felt pretty confident in his source to make it public.

I find this a little hard to believe. The investigation started while Shockey was still on our team. Would he have ratted about this while still in a Saints uniform? I kind of doubt it.

And they could be lying about the dates of the investigation, to throw people off the trail of where it came from....

It's not the initial investigation... The NFL told the Saints to stop and someone obviously tipped them off before last season and that re-opened the investigation.

Just got more respect for Sapp. Want more info to be sure it's Shockey. If so, he ain't welcome in the NO anymore.

There's no direct proof shockey said anything yet, obviously Sapp have some insider information, he's cool with a lot of defense players in the league including players of his formal rival, I'm sure he got confirmation from several players that knew who snitched... sharper said he knew who it was as well but refused to let the name slip.

Shockey also never denied he snitched he just said he's not part of the scandel...... read between the lines on that....

Ok the snitch news has broke to usatoday, wwltv and wwl radio, washionton postbleacher report, tampa bay times etc.. shockey will have to come out of hiding and say something now

Whoever the person is, that person 's name should be brought forth and take a healthy heaping of punishment too.
