Round 4 pick

Come on guys make your predictions:

I can't believe Bobby Massie from Ole Miss is still there and I will go with him. Drew could always use some more protection and this guy was projected as a early 2nd rounder so great value.

ot is in need. but i am still looking at the secondary.

Chris Greenwood, CB, Albion
Height: 6 -1 1/4
Weight: 193
Arm: 31 5/8
Hand: 9 3/8
Wingspan: 78 1/8
Speed: 4.41
10 yd: 1.58
20 YD Shuttle: 4.15
60 YD Shuttle: 11.50
3- Cone: 6.99
Bench: 16
Vertical: 43
Broad: 11-2

If he is there i say once agian gamble on a true 6' 01" CB that has the ability to stay at CB. Heck even a move to FS if need. Cap issue will follow the saints and the time to build depth is now. The secondary Is coming up quickly for resigning. Plus he has produced 13 career interceptions, with 4 returned for touchdowns. He also works as a punt and kickoff returner. AN ALL AMERICAN 2 YEARS RUNNING

Chase Minnifield is who I'm hoping for.

I think we take BPA regardless, but would expect a corner or OT as others mentioned.

hey tiger fan tell us about minniefield?

Chase Minnifield, CB, Virginia
Height: 5-10. Weight: 183.
Projected 40 Time: 4.46.
Bench: 7.
Arm: 31 1/2.
Projected Round (2012): 3-5.
4/25/12: The impression from his pro day was not good since Minnifield was said to be still recovering from his knee injury. He didn't participate in the drills at the Combine for the same reason. Minnifield did weigh in however, and he was much shorter than his college listed height of 6-foot. That is a significance difference. With the knee injury slowly progressing, his stock is falling.

Teams threw away from Minnifield throughout 2011. He had three interceptions with 50 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks and eight passes broken up. Minnifield missed Virginia's bowl game because of his minor knee surgery. That also kept him from playing in any All-Star games. He had good coverage overall this season. Minnifield plays well in man coverage and zone coverage. He possesses a nice skill set for the next level.

8/25/11: Chase Minnifield could easily go in the first round, and higher than former teammate cornerback Ras-I Dowling who went with the 33rd overall pick last April. After notching two interceptions a season as a freshman and sophomore, Minnifield broke out with six picks last season. He also had 48 tackles with one sack and four passes broken up. Minnifield can contribute as a punt returner as well. Don't be surprised if his numbers decline as a senior as most teams will probably throw away from him. Minnifield's father Frank was a Pro Bowler with the Browns in the 80s and 90s.

Thanks Mitch

I agree with going with a CB. It is a very glaring need. I also can not beleive Massie is still there. I don't think he is going to make it to us but if he did, we may have to pull the trigger.

L Green from UL. Dude is a stud and would be a great 1-2 punch at TE. I know the failcants want him too so I pray they dont get him.

Alfonzo Dennard (CB)
Height: 5' - 10" Conference: Big Ten
Weight: 204 lbs Arm Length: 30"
College: Nebraska Hand Size: 9 1/2"
Expert Grade: 85.7

Back to The Combine

Performance Stats
40 Yard Dash 4.51 seconds
Broad Jump 121.0"
Vertical Jump 37.0"

Overview
Like his classmate Jared Crick, Dennard played alongside premier talent (New York Giants' 2011 first-round pick Prince Amukumara) early in his career and also missed some playing time as a senior due to injury (leg). But unlike Crick, Dennard was less tested as a senior once back from injury because he lost that elite player on the opposite side. He has some of the same traits as Prince in that he is smart, plays with instincts and understands how to support in run defense and play the role of a staunch football player at the corner who does more than just cover. While he is not particularly stellar with any singular trait, he has the size, athletic ability, and overall above-average skills that blend together to make a nice prospect. He is the type of corner who could contribute heavily on special teams in his rookie year, and although he has not been tested much working in the slot, could likely be picked in the late first or early second round.

Strengths
Dennard is a strong all-around player, who doesn't shine with any particular skill, but that's his main strength: There are few weaknesses in his game. He is a heady player who plays on top of receivers and understands how to turn and run to not get beat deep. He trusts his speed and footwork in man coverage and can fill nicely as a run defender in both run plays and in zone. He is a solid athlete who has fluid hips and can adjust to make ball plays in mid-air. He understands how to play with leverage and jam the receiver at the line of scrimmage, as he is a very balanced and strong player who rarely falls off his stance or gets pushed off coverage by bigger wideouts. Dennard has a lot of experience starting games at a high level and is NFL-ready.

Weaknesses
Alfonzo is a shorter corner and could potentially get out-jumped at the next level. He can let himself get blocked by more physical receivers at times, but when the play comes his way he usually gets involved. He missed the first three games of 2011 with a pulled leg muscle.
