Gator, you\'re a sad sad individual. You\'re little comments directed at me are duly noted. I hope you feel better. Does this sort of thing really help you sleep a night? You need a girlfriend man. :P

I\'d say the main requirement is the ability to refrain from knee-jerk responses. Alternately, telling the truth is recommended too.
The ability to see the WHOLE picture isn\'t recommended, it\'s required.
Baseless conspiracy theories aren\'t allowed.

You guys really look at things? I mean, do you really look? The great Bill Parcells went to the playoffs last year with a better defense (far better) than the Saints. They won 10 games -- two more than the Saints. They won those two extra games on a freak play (mistake) by the Giants and a stupid onside kick by the Eagles that the Cowboys ran back for a Touchdown. You negative nay-sayers either can not or will not include variables that don\'t support your anti Haz/AB agenda. You guys are constantly exposed for what you really are and ya\'ll pop in and out here typing this poo day after day as if the rest of us don\'t see through it.

Those of us in the \"Sunshine Club\" neither need nor want ya. Lock yourselves in a room and throw yet another pity party. It\'s what you\'re best at anyway. :casstet:

Saintfan is right, there is nothing wrong with this team that trading Aaron Brooks couldn\'t fix.

1) Must be blind unless can be easily influenced by Jim Haslett or articles that support Jim Haslett

Hmmmm...as opposed to being easily influenced by articles that don\'t support Jim Haslett? What\'s your point Gator?

2) Must live in La-La land. ie (not the real world)

Those of you truly living in la la land are under the misconception that the real word, is, in fact, la la land ( or Disney World ) so I\'ll cut you some slack on this one.

3) Must defend AB by citing poor defense.

No one that I\'ve ever seen has defended Brook with a \"poor defense\" argument. Now, it HAS been mentioned as part of the problem while negative thinkers such as yourself attempt to blame EVERYTHING on the QB, but then with those blinders you put on every morning I can\'t really expect you to be aware of that.

4) Must defend defense by citing youth

Let\'s see how many people cut poor little punkie Eli Manning slack (especially on THIS board) because of youth over the next few years. Let me know if you\'re able to look in the mirror without puking after I point that out to you, and I will point that out to you.

5) Must defend draft by citing Bad luck

Has anyone attempted to defend the draft by citing bad luck? Are you refering to my post about not being able to trade up? Well Gator, rather than beetching about it why don\'t you get a job with an NFL team and draft as you think you should -- money says you\'d be singin\' a different tune. You like to complain, but you rarely offer any plausible solution. There\'s a word for folks like that.

6) Must defend offense by citing bad luck and or team cancer yet to be named.

Dance with the one that brough ya Gator. Which team Cancer are you speakin of? The Roaf situation was a distraction was it not. Connell too eh? Again with the bad luck thing...see, in la la land the ball bounces your way EVERY time, but those of us here in the real world know that isn\'t really always the case.

7) Must defend coaches win-loss record over 3yrs by citing bad luck and players that magically turned into cancers without any prior warning or provocation.

Yet again with the bad luck thing. Read the response to 6 above so I don\'t have to type it again. You don\'t get it anyway. Youth, inexperience, players that haven\'t played together, injuries, play calling...the list goes on and on. No one is doing what you\'re indicating here -- just something else you made up. For what it\'s worth, 08 is far better at conspiracy theories than you are. Take some lessons.

6) Must say we\'re going to the playoffs every year regardless of abilty or probability.

Do you think the Saints have the ability to make the playoffs this year? (I do) Do you think it\'s probable? (I Do) See, the SAFE bet is yes, then no, but if you\'re afraid to step out on that limb there\'s really no reason for any of us to cut you slack for being a weenie.

9) Must attack any fan who speaks of Saints in Negative way regardless of its constructive or expressive nature.

If you are constructive that\'s one thing. If you are expressive by telling lies and mis-representing the truth you\'re might get called on it. I know you don\'t like to get called on it cause you get angry easily, but that\'s just a flaw in your character that might be helped by a professional and/or medication. If you\'re posting you opinion, state is as such and you won\'t have anymore people asking you to prove things.

10) Must have ability and knack to pick fights to make self feel better

Pick fights? Dude, this, indeed, is the pot making reference to the kettle. I\'ll say it again. Do you REALLY want me to prove to all these people that you\'re as guilty as any and more guilty than most in this regard? I can, and I will if you\'d like.

11) Intelligence Optional

You would know about this one huh?

:P

Actually Gator, I don\'t mind at all. You know what they say about opinions right? Some of us just don\'t see why others of you insist on being negative for the sake of being negative...but in the immortal words of Chuck Berry, live like you wanna live.

Now, if you have a problem with an opinion or with something I\'ve said feel free to debate it. If you want proof of something I\'ve posted as fact (good luck in your search) then ask for it. If being asked for proof when you post something that is obviously speculative hurts your feelings or causes you to throw an angry little fit, might I advise you that those little fits have already been your undoing here once before. It can surely happen again.

I\'m shocked and appalled that a moderator of this board would, if not fire the first shot, certainly be the one to make this personal. Tisk, tisk... but then, I\'ve come to expect it.

But I won\'t talk about people... let\'s talk about the issues! The WhoTang Clan believes it\'s time for a change! Do you really want 4 more years of .500 play? Underachieving? No Playoffs? BAD LUCK!?! The WhoTang Clan says ENOUGH! It\'s time to point that cancerous finger at the current administration. Out with the fat boys, out with the bad luck, out with the underachieving, out with Jim Haslett!!

LMAO.
