Sean Payton Loses $3.45M Texas Mansion With Disco In Divorce

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I agree with SaintGup. I hope there was no "third party." Sad. Money yeah, still sad. Their kids are like middle-school aged. Yeah, she got a lot. He earned a lot. She got her share. Seems he was generous, fair. ...

Sad. Money yeah, still sad. Their kids are like middle-school aged. Yeah, she got a lot. He earned a lot. She got her share. Seems he was generous, fair. That is good because they won't have any long , bitter divorce there. She , aged 40's, is hardly a gold-digger. 20 yrs. marriage, two kids, traveling and living all over the place as they chased their dream of him being an NFL HC and when they married 20 yrs ago, he had nothing. They did not sign a prenup, I am sure. Prenup what?
Good of them for keeping their divorce quiet and fast and both of them at peace...I guess at peace.

I understand what some of you are saying, and I don't disagree. But I also know that one does not have to be rich to be used. Perhaps gold digger wasn't the term I was looking for, but Sean has had ties to football for a long time, and theoretically she could have seen an opportunity and went for it. That doesn't mean she might not have cared at all for him, but I've seen a lot and experienced my own hardships to be skeptical of people.

The key word in that last paragraph was "theoretically". It might be all Sean's fault or maybe it's a little bit of both of them. I just noticed that a lot of people are jumping the gun on Sean and assuming he did something when they don't know anything more than I do. And about the prenup comment, I did say "that or maybe something more recent". I don't claim to know, but obviously somebody agreed to something, and I thought it was very odd how much she got. Oh well... I sure hope he didn't do something really stupid, because if he did, I couldn't respect him much.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
