Can somebody explain how this year's value is $40M, but he is only counting $18.6M towards the cap?

I love Drew as much as anybody, but I hope we didn't just shackle our financial flexibility to a QB who will be 39 in the final year of his contract.

In the 3rd year of drews contract we'll end up drafting a young gun to sit behind drew for 2 years

That way we can hopefully plan for the future

As for now, our future is a black and gold superbowl
