Our head coach is gone this season... It will have an impact...

That statement has nothing to do with what is being done or will be done to overcome that hurdle. Our team is in the best hands it could possibly be in considering the situation.

Sean Payton being out for the season is by no means a hurdle that cant be overcome.... Drew getting hurt is different story.

Eat some bread, drink a glass of milk... and much like I said about Drews contract..

LET IT PLAY OUT!

Sean not being here is a HUGE impact, there is no question about this. He knows the game and how he wants it played. So for brees to have questions about our season, of course he should. I couldn't agree more with you x626xBlack
"Our team is in the best hands it could possibly be in considering the situation." No one should think any different.
Plus there is not one of the other 31 teams in this league that could do any better.

Come on. Anybody ever seen this on the sidelines before? When Drew gets mad, he doesn't yell or throw things or scream at his linemen like certain other famous quarterbacks and players do. He just gets that p-ssed off, determined look on his face. I see that look on his face in a lot of these comments, determination, quiet confidence, not being rattled by what's happening. He's obviously sad that Payton's not around, he misses him -- why not show it? He knows Payton in exile will read it, right?

Besides, who is he talking to? Drew is talking to Peter King and playing him like a fiddle -- give him exactly what he wants, and not a cent more. He knows that Loomis, Vitt and Payton won't talk to King. It's a setup. You think Drew doesn't know who he's talking to, doesn't measure his words carefully when he is talking to different people and different audiences? You think he doesn't know how to manipulate the media? He's playing this up for sympathy, folks, and letting King look like a dick, on purpose.

Drew is trying to turn public opinion against Goodell, and against the 16-game suspension. Since Payton has no real appeal process, the only way left to possibly get him back is through public relations. If Goodell starts losing in court, and the tide of public opinion on Bountygate swings to the point where it gets embarrassing to Goodell, he might save face by reducing the suspensions on the coaches/GM by a few games. It's a long shot, but it's the only shot we have.

If anything, the more quiet and reserved Drew becomes as the season gets closer, the better I feel.

Wrong!

Unicorns are magical beings which are created with smiles, hugs and kisses, so they do not actually go through the natural maturing stages of a non-magical being.

Henceforth, all unicorns are mature and male, like SaintGup stated above.
