Mike,
What is your opinion on Mickey Loomis' development as a GM? Should we feel secure with Loomis at the helm?

Will Jimmy Robinson benefit mostly from the fact that Horn (contract disputes), Stallworth (injuries) and Brooks (injuries) have been participating in the offseason program together for the first time in three years or is Robinson really that much better than his predecessor?

Assuming the front four can generate a pass rush as good or better than the 2000 team, will the current DB's still keep us from making a playoff run?

Do I feel confidence in this team, No, point blank. I have got to see that ability to fight through adversity to win games late and to be honest this team has not done this on a consistent basis since the 2000 season. That all falls back on the coaching staff and the ability to get this team to stop making costly mistakes. Good teams don\'t have turnovers and make mental errors late in games. Everybody loses games, but the better teams seem to have the ability to fight through adversity and being mentally tough. Right now I have to see it to believe it.

Ouch. Not reassuring words from Mike. In fact, he said he expects the Saints to be 8-8 and finish 3rd in the division. That\'s tough to hear from the hometown guy. Maybe I\'m over-confident.

I think he said it perfectly.
I refuse to go into the season and not see the lingering issues the Saints have.
The off season moves and draft have not made us much better.
I want to be in the number - I will jump onto the bandwagon when the Saints show the \"potential\" on game days.

I respect Detiller. He\'s forgotten more football than anybody on this board knows, with the exception of 08.

I\'m even more uneasy about this season.
