If you were getting a man crush on Peyton Manning's leadership during that game, then you need to see him when he has an off night or doesn't get exactly what he wants. He pouts like a little baby. He turns red. He curses out his own O line. Some of his most famous team mates from Indy think he is a dick, and will NOT say anything good about him, the silence from his own ex players who have nothing good to say about him is deafening, and these are people who know him. (Just ask Jeff Saturday.) Contrast that with Drew's ex team mates who ALL say great stuff about him.

Peyton and Drew are both great qbs, but they just do things in different ways. A team with either one of them at qb really has no room to complain. I mean, look at some of the schmucks out there playing the position. It's not pretty. Lots of teams wishing they had Drew on their team, believe it.

I wouldn't swap Drew for any other qb out there. I must admit that early in the season I was a bit disappointed that he couldn't fill in for Payton on offense, but alas now I see I was a overly optimistic delusional dumb ass for even thinking that. He's a qb and a great one, but he is not a coach.

Yea I agree with the OP, when Drew throws an INT he goes to the sidelines just like Cam Fig Newton and throws a towel over his head. I totaly see the comparison there. Your so right he is no leader, maybe we will be lucky enough and the panthers might trade us straight up for Cam. At least then when he scores he can do his superman dance and show that hard edge leadership. YEA!

I"ve been critical of Drew lately, (some are calling me a hater/ bandwagoner, etc.) but he IS a leader, and a good one, when his head is there.

Brees is the leader of this group and Payton is the coach and the soul of the team.
Brees doesn't read on the side line. He studies! And that blank stare was the realization that the season was over. That stare was the only time he wasn't studying their defense. The man is only human and I could see him thinking that it had all fallen apart.

Sorry, but one simple question: are you f*****g out of your mind???? Before the season there was nothing but cheering for Brees. Now, that the season does not go as most of us hoped and expected, Drew Brees is the idiot whose fault it is? Sorry, but I don't get that part!!! I always remember him sitting on the bench most of the time and reading; reading about his next tactic! What is wrong about that???

No, I do not sign for Drew Brees being the problem in the team. The problem is that there where high expectations after the bountygate, maybe higher than they should have been. I knew that this was coming if the games don't come out as most wanted them to. First being proud of having the best QB in the team and then dropping him like a stinky fish? Is that who dat? NO!!! IT IS NOT!!!
