First off, I love Drew, but he has ZERO Leadership! No fire, sits on the bench reading, blank stare on the sidelines as Denver is whipping us. Watch, Manning, over talking to the offence, keeping them pumped and focussed.

This was hard to watch tonight, all the way around. Doesen't get any worse than this.

Ring, not Rings. Brady has Rings. Big Ben has Rings. Brees has a Ring. He put's up awesome numbers, but he can't lead. I think the team thought he could and help fill the Payton void, but he can't.

All of these guys are there with the talent. This team is not in rebuilding years.
Brees is no head coach.
Brees can lead , but he is not a head coach. Brees was coached and by the best, Sean Payton.
I did not agree with some here who said, Sean Payton, being gone, would make a big difference. Some of us believed that with players and coaching staff of talent he put in place, they could pull together.
No, they cannot.
There is no chief. No boss.
Sean Payton is the link that oiled the machine.
I wonder what he sued to say, tell them in the locker room when the Saints were down at half-time and they would come back and play some football.
You when the boss is gone and some people might just take that one extra soda break. Everybody is a bit more relaxed.
Same thing here with the Saints. The boss is not there.
But then, I have never been on a job when the boss is not there and no one works. The Saints are not working. Alos, I ahve never been on a job with people making that kind of money for doing nothing.

Drew is def a leader! He's not sitting on sidelines with a blank stare. He studies the previous series and uses what he sees when he goes out for next series. He is not the head coach. The media and fans decided to elevate him as a fill in for Payton. Drew never said he could or would replace Payton. He gets the team fired up with his before the game chants and is always ready to accept blame when he deserves it. He never points a finger or publicly criticizes his team mates. Doesn't pout; always sets a good example by his work ethic. There are a lot of factors going into this rough time for the Saints. It's easy to be critical and tough to be supportive when the team is struggling. I agree with the sentiment that the people who want to jump off the bandwagon should do so now and let the rest of us offer our guys the support they deserve.
