Re: Lance Moore Gangnam Style

Frankly for a .500 team the dancing and dunking and taunting and "excessive celebration" stuff is getting completely out of control...the dancing and goofing around would not be so bad if Payton were here, IMHO. One glare from coach would shut down all that stuff and our players would be "acting like they've been there before"...but teacher's away, substitute teacher, you know how that is. I'm glad to see them having fun, out there, but if it's causing penalties, and changing field position, it needs to be nipped in the bud. Those types of field-position penalties against the 49ers or Bears defense, or in a close game like the Falcons, could kill us.

Re: Lance Moore Gangnam Style

Both colston and joe vitt had words with Ingram when he came off

I was suprised because colston actually spoke and was pointing around, he's right though

I like our players are having fun now and we are winning, just got to remember it hurts the team

They've been doing that since the days of bush and Shockey. It pumps the crowd up. And if Mark Ingram runs like that. He deserve to point his finger's Reggie bush style.

I agree completely as I'm not a big fan of the choreographed celebrations. The quote "when you get to the end zone, act like you've been there before" is attributed to a number of football greats. All said, at least the Saints, and especially the D, had something to celebrate. That was the best defensive performance by the defense in quite a while…..dating back to last season. Two picks, two more near picks and one reversed fumble recovery. Palmer was off but mostly because of good pressure.

Re: Lance Moore Gangnam Style

Ingram is finally having some success, and even though he is not one, it was a rookie mistake and I'm sure he has learned his lesson from it. The refs certainly were not consistent in the celebration penalties yesterday. I agree that most of the celebrations are over the top also.

Seems like pumping the crowd up (or the other team's players) in a road game is kinda the last thing you would want to do. When Reggie did that flip in the NFC Championship game, the Bears players said later that it made them angry, and inspired them to play harder in the second half, and the rest of that game was pretty much dominated by the Bears from the moment that the Saints were getting back into it.
