II\'ll continue to ask this question: why would we want McKenzie? Why bring in a guy who is clearly selfish and disruptive? No amount of talent is worth that.

Our guys may not be as talented as he is. But they are here. They are working. They are trying to get better. They are trying to make the Saints winners.

MM is nowhere to be found. They guy is under contract. His butt needs to be in camp.

Now tell me again why we\'d want to bring such a negative influence into the Saints organization?

The only way I can see McKenzie happy in New Orleans is if it\'s just for this season alone. Sure he\'ll be happy that he got out of Green Bay. Sure he\'ll be happy that he got what he wanted, no matter where he goes. How long will it last? Probably not long. This guy has had a revolving door of agents and he would likely be griping about something next year. Not 100% on that, but from what he\'s displayed as a Packer, who\'s to say he won\'t do it here? I wouldn\'t mind seeing the guy play THIS year in New Orleans, but as soon as the season is over, dump him for a draft pick. Don\'t waste anytime and allow him to start his whining and holdouts. He\'d still be an upgrade over Ambrose, Craft, Brown, and Company. He and Fred Thomas would make a nice tandem. He would definitely have to check his attitude along with his luggage at the airport in Green Bay before I would make any deal.

People shouldn't be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people.

What did we know about MM before this no-show? I don\'t think he was a trouble maker, I don\'t think it has been reported that he has been a problem.
We were willing to take Derek Ross.
I understand the concerns however the Saints obvioulsy want to get better and apparently this guy is better than what we have currently. I applaud the effort the Saints are making to lure this guy. If we don\'t get him, so be it, but let\'s not fool ourselves. The guy can play and that is all we as fans should hope for. Maybe he could cut the dreads a bit. He is not a pro bowler but he is closer than Mr. Ross and we were beginning to rest our CB problems had Mr. Ross worked out.

But he\'s a problem now. He signed a contract. He needs to live up to his end of the contract. Too bad if the contract sucks. That was his choice.

Under the condition that he doesn\'t screw up. You saw how long that experiment lasted.

My issue is chemistry. Just the conditions under which the guy will be brought here will be disruptive. We would still have to try to find a way to sign him. I\'d rather give the money to Duece, who is a team player, and deserves it. He\'s a top 3 running back that\'s playing out his rookie contract without argument or complaint. McKenzie has done neither.

Getting better is fine. But get better with the right people, not just someone who can cover.

Instead of worring about McKenzie, why not work on putting together a defensive scheme that works with the players we have?

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

I agree with you D, if we are going to bring this guy in, let\'s do it for this season only, that way he does\'nt mess up our plans to pay Deuce big bucks to stay in New Orleans. I agree with everyone else that McKenzie\'s attitude may suck, but would this player not make our secondary a whole lot better?

This guy is no better than Fred Thomas, yet he\'ll want twice the money Fred\'s getting in addition to a 1st round pick.

What do you think Freddy will do if we sign this guy to twice Fred\'s contract? He\'ll freaking blow his top (and probably rightly so) and demand a new contract.

I\'d love to have a BMW, but I\'m not gonna pay the price of a Rolls Royce to get it.
