Ambrose has Technique!

Must be one of those old stereo's, because his technique has already got burned a couple of times in the preseason;

he doesn\'t look like a player out there much less like an old player... he looks as if he has no technique at all... Watch Craft\'s technique this week and watch Ambrose and you\'ll see what I mean.

The cornerback position is one where speed is at a premium. It\'s hard to get by on instincts alone. Even Deion looked bad the last year he played. And Ambrose is no Deion.

Now, some of the aging vets have been written off for dead and have came back and had terrific years. Jay Bellamy is a prime example. So, it\'s possible, but Bellamy played safety ... NOT cornerback.

Ambrose has not looked good in preseason when he\'s had to match-up one on one and that\'s NOT going to change in the regular season, IMHO.

What I don\'t understand is why is he still starting? Why not put in Brown or Craft with the first team and see how that works out?

How can Haz and co. keep hyping up Fakhir Brown about how he has improved SO much and yet feel Ambrose is still better? That\'s scary. Doesn\'t say much for Craft and Brown.

But from what I have seen, I think both of those guys ARE better. So I am not sure why they are starting Ambrose.

Confused, can anyone help me????

I don\'t know. Both Craft and Brown have looked like pro-bowlers compared to Ambrose. Hell Monte Montgomery has looked better than AA.

I totally agree with Craft, I think he will end up being just like Thomas, consistent.

Is saying a cornerback has lost a step but has technique like saying your blind date is a little heavy but has a great personality?
