I don't really care about the final score I just wanna see less sloppy play and a few individual performances.

1. Bouman. This is his game to show us something or JT may jump over him.

2. James Allen. Has played decent, but still gets caught out of postion a bit too much. I want to see him read and react a bit better.

3. WR's. I want to see someone other than Pathon catch a ball. In fact I'd sit Pathon. He's ready.

4. RB. I want to see extended PT for Lamar and Ki-Jana. Four or five carries won't tell us much about either one. One of them may be required to get us into the playoffs if the unthinkable were to happen. Save the scat back review for next week. Lets see the beef this week.

5. Orlando Ruff. The more I watched the GB game the more I kept seeing him make plays. I thought he looked faster than last year, but it was vs 2nd stringers.
Then I heard he had lost about 15 pounds this offseason to improve his speed.
I want to see him vs 1st stringers, at the SLB as well as MLB.

6. CB, I want to see Craft and Brown. We know what Freddy and Ashley bring. These two have the skills, lets see 'em in action. Craft is still a bit new to the system so what better way to get him ready than let him play.

7. Stinchcomb. Let him play LT again. Gandy will be ready for week 1 so why risk it. The only way Stinch will get better is to keep playing.

i would be happy just to see the game but...

i would like to see JT start, i\'ve never been big on bouman, i think he\'s a hack, JT could be the saviour that everyone thought delhomme could have been, although i think JT is 10 times better than jake is

i agree with your statement on pathon, to tell the truth i think he\'s been our most dependable reciever over the last few years, i don\'t think he ever got a fair shake though

The number ONE thing I want to see us do is STOP THE RUN. I thought the defense did a pretty good job of stopping the run in the first game and an excellent job in the second game. But stopping the run is still my number ONE concern.

As far as specifics go:

1. Coutney Watson -- It\'s hard to say how effective he has been. His name hasn\'t been called that much and he hasn\'t made that many tackles. That\'s usually not a very good sign for a MLB. When I\'ve keyed on him, he seems to be in the right position and I have seem him make a few plays.

2. Johnathan Sullivan -- I want to see him play with the starting defense. Sully has flashed big play potential in both preseason games. I want to see if he can do it with the first team defense.

3. James Allen -- He came up and laid some big hits last week. With Hodge out the first 4 weeks, I\'d like to see Allen step up.

4. Jason Craft -- Maybe I\'m in the minority here, but I think Craft has looked good. He\'s had some passes completed on him but he seems to be on the receivers like glue most of the time. And I\'ve seen him break up some passes too. I want to see him with the starting defense.

5. Orlando Ruff -- Was that the same Orlando Ruff last week. I think he had 11 tackles? And he did look faster or something. Let me see some more of Ruff.

6. Will Smith -- I\'m sold on him already, but I just love his strength and his speed. Dude runs a 4.5/40. The new \"freak.\"

The last thing is I want is to see the damn receivers hold on to the football.

No you aren\'t in the minority. Everyone is saying he looks good, but is still a bit behind the learning curve. I\'d still take him week one over Ambrose no question.
5. Orlando Ruff -- Was that the same Orlando Ruff last week. I think he had 11 tackles? And he did look faster or something. Let me see some more of Ruff.
I was hoping someone else noticed it too. I thought it was just because he was playing against 2nd stringers, but then I heard a passing comment on WWL that he dropped about 15 pounds to increase his speed. Hmmm. He\'ll never be a Ray Lewis, but he may end up being a solid back-up MLB, or perhaps a SLB?

I don\'t want to come down too hard on Courtney Watson because he\'s only a rookie and he\'s got tremendous pressure on him to come in at start at a difficult position. But, I\'m far from being sold on this guy. For this year anyway. I think he\'s only got 3 tackles in the 2 preseason game. And he\'s played a pretty good bit. Tackles don\'t always define success, but the MLB usually leads his team in tackles.

Orlando didn\'t do great last year, but that doesn\'t mean he can\'t this year. I\'m not so concerned with Ruff having to roam sideline to sideline. I want to make damn sure we can stop the run right up the gut. I\'d rather have Courtney out there becasue he is more athletic. We\'ll see....

Bears game, what do you hope to see???

Hello Saints fans. This is my first post to this board. I have been reading here for some time now and thought I would post my thoughts. I think the Saints have more talent than i\'ve ever seen a Saint team have. And I have seen a lot of Saints teams. (since 1967) And so let say that I like the post that Danno and GumboBC have put up. I agree with you guys and want to see the same things. And your right on the money GumboBC with us being able to stop the run. With that being said let me also say that stoping the big play is also a main concern. And i\'m really hoping that this Hendson kid at wr works out. I think he is going to contribute in a big way this year. And if he does what I hope he will do, then the Saints may be able to show Horn the door. Cause I think he is one of the major problems the Saints have. He\'s another TO in my book. And while he has helped the Saints, he has also hurt them. I think Stallworlth would be a lot better if Horn wasn\'t around.
