Wouldn't Welker be fun?
 

There's no $$$ at all for this and if there was I'd still rather it be spent on the D, but wouldn't Welker in the slot and Sproles running out the other side be fun to watch? That's not even mentioning everyone else we have. Teams'd need twelve men on the field just to try to cover everything.

No, two's better than one. Remember, this is a just thinkin' about it thread. By 2014 the downsides would outweigh the up, but I'm just thinkin' it would be plain fun to see Welker and Brees and the rest on the same team just once.

I'm with Danno on this one we have a Wes welker, his name is lance Moore!!!!

As far as fun, Greg Jennings would be a hellva add. Jimmy, Colston, Morgan, Moore......... and Jennings...that would be fun...

Jennings would be the bomb. he can get yacs like no one else.its almost imposible to get gennings without money. It would be fun

Welker drops the big time catches that need to be made, lance moore doesnt

Greg jennings would be perfect for our offense but someone would see a very reduced role and we are already loaded up to the eye balls in offensive talent

Dont forget that nick toon will be back this year and if he stays healthy, he could turn into a very reliable option

I think a player like Ngata, Aldon Smith, Patrick Willis or Clay Matthews would be much much more fun.

Isn't Sproles our scat back guy taking small screens, dumps, and wheels and moving within the defense to pick up yards?!?

I much prefer how we do it and spread the money amongst several players...

Not to be negative but after this past season a lot of teams will be focusing on Moore next season when they see the tapes in offseason. Which does concern me a little as how does Moore play under an even bigger spotlight than he may have already was. I mean its hard for defenses to cover all three targets of Brees' biggest receivers, but Moore had the best year this season. And Graham's 2011 will not be forgotten. i think Colston is the one thats going to need to step up as well as Morgan and Sproles. I worry though Colston is due to get hurt. He hasnt missed games since the playoff game in 2010.
