What kinda condition are his knees in these days? He might have to lead them out of the tunnel in a wheelchair.

How are the AZ DB's doing as far as passes defended? It seems that they aren't getting the sacks or the pressure, so are they forcing coverage incompletes?

We play against Honeybadger this week!

... the announcers have dropped the 'honeybadger' references though, :(

Yes, they held Stafford (DET) to under 300yds passing and they get the job done ... don't give up too much deep stuff & will let you dink/dunk 'em on the short routes all day long. Peterson (ARI) looked good against Johnson (DET) despite Johnson's two TD outing. Matthieu/honeybadger (ARI) made a couple key plays as well. They have good special teams.

It was home vs a Lions team that hasn't won in Arizona since the early/mid '90s, so take it for what it's worth, but the Lions did have all their primary weapons in Johnson/Burleson/Pettigrew/Bush/Bell.

If this game wasn't in the Dome, I might have been inclined to pick ARI just because they way the Saints offense has been the first two weeks. However, I'm counting on a little 'home-cooking' to get Drew & the boys motivated and back-on-track..

The honey badger don't care if the honey badger doesn't want to be called the honey badger no more.

Not very much support for Saints special teams. Hartley was 3 for 3 against Atlanta and 3 of 4 against the Bucs (outdoors and swirling wind). When he misses one, some want his FOOT on a platter. On the other hand, when special teams and Hartley wins one with a FG on the last play...minor (at best) applause.

It doesn't go unnoticed that Brees, Graham, Sproles, and Colston got the field position, but so many things could have gone wrong (as in the past) with that final FG.

Know how difficult it is to miss a 27 yard FG? :) That is a kick from the 17 yard line... High School kickers make that ever day, a 16 yo firld goal kicker from po-dunk Louisiana could have made that kick.

Patrick Peterson is now the best cornerback in the league; with the exception of a coverage exchange in traffic, he handled Calvin Johnson, the best Wide Receiver not a Saint in the NFL, and maybe the best in the last twenty years, one on one...

I'd say they've got an excellent secondary with that alone; but Peterson is not alone...

And they've got a very good front seven; they'd be a top three defense if they had an offense that could (wait for it) run the ball...

Teams with a Patrick Peterson, one Durrell Revis, One any great player in the league are extremely dangerous against most teams... Most teams have 1 great receiver.

No one Hall of Fame D-Back can cover both Graham and Colston at the same time. So my lack of fear will have to be forgiven.

Patrick Peterson is certainly up there but the honors of being the best cornerback in the league goes to Richard Sherman(1a) and Joe Haden(1b). Calvin Johnson had 6 catches for 116 and 2 scores last week. No matter how you slice it, that's not handling. No one handles Megatron.

Yep, and I have seen a botched snap, a hold gone wrong, and a kicker with the YIPS, a missed block, miss from a shorter distance...extra point. All in the NFL. :)
