Re: Sex and Won

I dont see the "close game"... It was closest at the start.. 0-0.. We were not trailing at the end of any Qtr.

Lets see:
Score: 35 Saints - 17 Bills
TDs: Saints 5 - Bills 2
3rd eff Saints 46% Bills 38%
4th eff Saints 100% Bills 0%
ToP Saints 32:30 Bills 27:30
Turn Overs Saints -0 Bills -3

Held their running game to 62% of their average... Dont give me crap about Spiller being out Jackson has out preformed him all season. Their best RB played.

The Saints passed and ran as average as they have all season:
The bills on the other hand did not meet their ave points, ave rushing, beat their ave passing by 15 total yards.

How can you say baring a TD pass? It wasn't a fluke, no refs helped, is it because it was Stills a rookie? Well he had 2 TD receptions. Moore had 1 and Graham had 2... if you want to say "barring" something, how about barring those penalties called on Drew?

The only reason the game was as close as it was was Fartley missing 2 FGs. With out Fartley missing those FGs we drop a 40 burger.

This was probably the most balanced offensive game we have had yet.

The Bills are not a bad team, you need to look at who they have beat in their schedule this season so you can see that... They are just not "that" good.

Tell that to the patriots, 21-10 at halftime vs jets, turned into 24-21 in a matter of 50 seconds

Anything can happen in football, so I'd call an 11 point lead and the bills having success early in the 3rd quarter a relatively close game.
Also if you look at my original post, I'm not talking about end game stats, I said the game was close until the 4th quarter, That is when our offense really turned it on, our defense was superb all the way through

I just want to go on record as saying I knew this game was a lock and to second the motion on the kissing of Alex Flanagan, (cue 'DreamWeaver' by Gary Wright).

6-1, woohoo! Geaux Saints!

This was not the Patriots, Tom Brady, or Bill Bellichick....

"Any Given Sunday"... "anything can happen" is moot when the clock reads 00:00, and it didn't happen.

An 11 Point lead is a two score deficit... Not a TD and a FG either...

So what you are saying is never-mind the score, never-mind the lead, never mind the stats; as some point in the game you felt nervous?

As I said.. we were tied up at kick off to it was a nail biter then.

After 7 games...

Defense
Points per game - 4th best
Yards per game - 12th best

Offense
Points per game - 5th best
Yards per game - 6th best

Turn over differential - 3rd best
