Hypothetical question about our kicking game

I know its not possible I just wondered why you dont see it. How come we cant just have Moorestead kick field goals and punts and kickoffs? Is their a rule against it or is he simply not good at field goals?
At this point ANYTHING is better than Hartley. I think he has missed more than he made this season.

Moorestead, from what I understand, has a super strong leg but has accuracy where he can barely hit the side of a barn as a field goal kicker. We probably do better with the head case. Moorestead is an emergency place kicker only.

I think Hartley has to go. We can't afford to have him screw up next week. The 49ers are a far better football club than the Cowboys, at least defensively.

I made a comment a while back that theSaints will probably focus on O line this comming draft/FA....better add a kicker in there as well. Seriously,we need some consistency. This guy is just not worth having around anymore.

No way i am burning a draft pick on a frikicker... We will have glaring needs with the 2014 FA class and the cap.

truth is, kickers are cheap
and what better conditions would a PK want: explosive offense and minimum of 9 dome games

I could see one pick maybe, if there's a stud can't miss kicker in the draft.

But I agree Oak, I'd rather sign a relatively inexpensive but reliable kicker in free-agency.

I know, oxymoron...:p

How about a talented kicker? Or an dependable kicker?

It seems that there are no positive adjectives you can match with kicker that don't sound like an oxymoron.

Gimme some help here.

Emotionally stable kicker?
