Tim Flanders: All Time Leading Rusher (Southland Conference)

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Ingram, Thomas, and Robinson are about as close to automatic as it gets. A guy like Flanders may have a slight chance at taking Cadet's spot, but realistically he is a camp body at best....

It's early... let it all play out first.

He ain't no camp body. He's got a real good shot of making the roster.

I see a lot of Aaron Stecker in him. A good bit of speed, power when he needs it and just enough wiggle to keep people guessing. If he can play special teams my guess is he beats out Cadet and maybe tries to stake a claim in the RB rotation in '15.

I'm not sure he beats out Cadet, but he's certainly a PS candidate. Cadet excels at special teams and the staff is really high on him.

I'm thinking Cadet is probably much further along in pass protection responsibilities and play book knowledge than Flanders is.

If I had to guess I'd say Flanders to the PS and the active 53 in 2015 when either Ingram or PT (or both) are cut loose.

From what I've seen and read, he definitely isn't just a camp body. There's potential there.

Cadet? yep i can see him getting pushed. 3 years and has done very little on the field but each year he just keeps hanging on
