I think we have all , in the past, expressed some ..dissapointment..maybe a little bit of anger...when it comes to Stallworth..

He did show us a little more last year...and it was nice to see him finally be able to stay somewhat healthy the entire season..

This year though...and this is the plain truth....If he doesn\'t do some really great things this year...you will begin to really see how bad a Saints WR can be bashed...because..all of the normal excuses have expired..he is experienced...healthy..and fast...and..I believe his contract is coming close to bieng over...it is time RIGHT NOW..for him to earn his pay...and..the fans loyalty..and respect...

Being disappointed in a player\'s development and expressing that disappointment should not be considered bashing. These atheletes who are drafted in the first round become instant millionares and are expected to aspire to be the professionals they suddenly are. The fact of the matter is, most players like Stallworth have tremedous God-given ability but come into the league lacking maturity, character and disipline. Donte has made good progress in \"growing up\" in these areas and is just now starting to project the qualities that will make him the standout receiver he was expected to be.

The guy is flat out exciting to watch - his quickness and speed are scary. If he continues to work hard, his hands will be an asset.

I think Donte will be a great #2...one day. He will never be a #1 due to inconsistent hands.
