Why all The Stallworth Hating??
I see A lot of posts pertaining to trading Stallworth, Or how dissapointing he has been. Think about it, He is a Saint through and through. Think about the team over the last few years and everything your use to hearing and seeing. You will see the words, Potential, Under Acheiver, Inconsistencey etc etc. This sums up the Saints team and most the players on it. With so much on the potentail upside, why focus on just him? This team has seemed on the verge for what seems like forever, and I think Stallworth is right along with it. As A true Saints fan I too am tired of saying next year is THE year, But hey when it happens, Dont say I never told you so!

Why all The Stallworth Hating??
I think he made tremendous strides this year. He showed consistency, especially late, and played through pain. I think most detractors think he should be putting up Harison/Moss numbers due to his potential to do so. He made some catches this year I know he wouldn\'t have made last year. He is improving, he just didn\'t have as many explosive big gains as he probably should have. If he continues to progress mentally and physically he should be the entire package next year. |

Why all The Stallworth Hating??
Stallworth did OK last year. I felt that Pathon was more reliable. It\'s just time for him to step up and be the man. I\'m confident that he can become our #1 WR, but he\'s gonna have to prove it first or get it by injury (or holdout?).

Why all The Stallworth Hating??
No Stallworth bashing going on... I have seen people put expectations on and expect Super-hero feets from certain draft picks and he was just under that line. Wr position perhaps is one of the positions that takes a bit longer to develop a player, he has taken a bit longer but not really, seems to be coming along nicely.

Why all The Stallworth Hating??
I feel much the way Danno does.
Donte\' really impressed me with his commitment to his offseason training. Who here thought Donte\' would stay injury free all season?! Donte\' did not have the break-out year we wanted. But, as I\'ve been preaching, our offensive line affected the passing game. Yes, Joe Horn had many catches, but any number 1 receiver is always the first option. The QB needs some time to survey the field! I feel very confident Donte\' will continue to improve. |

Why all The Stallworth Hating??
Maybe because he has such \"big play\" ability, yet doesn\'t score that often, fans seem to downplay when he does contribute. I think he\'s one player we\'d all love to see explode.

Why all The Stallworth Hating??
I think Stallworth has the ability to be the real deal. As of now, I do not think he has played up to it. The biggest problem is he does not have great hands. If he can improve that part of his game, look out. If Donte can improve his catching, he should catch around 80 passes. With his speed, those 80 catches should turn into around 15 TD\'s. I also think Donte now has a clue. He really impressed me with his offseason conditioning last year. It seems like the kid really wants to improve his game.

Why all The Stallworth Hating??
..maybe it\'s just that his name weighs too heavy on him... ... but he\'s not produced as expected... that\'s not \"bashing\", that\'s just the way it is... |
