Moss To Raiders

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Randy Moss is heading for Oakland, the receiver's agent said Wednesday.

Dante DiTrapano, Moss' agent, told The Associated Press that the Minnesota Vikings and the Raiders had ``come to an agreement on Randy playing for Oakland next year.''

The Vikings wouldn't confirm a deal.

With Burleson moving to #1, and hopefully Marcus Robinson showing his potential, I think the Vikes should focus on their D. Obviously their weak point. Daunte can get the ball to anybody on that team, no problemo.

Moss To Raiders

No doubt of his elite status as a wide out but is he worth all of the maitenance?

My opinion - NO! Moss has no understanding of TEAM and will always act like a spoiled brat and I doubt will ever own a Super Bowl ring.

Mort at ESPN said Moss really wanted to go to Atlanta or Baltimore but neither team was willing to part with what the Vikes wanted. Mora flat out didn\'t want him or his crap!

Neat little article from nfl.com related to that (written before this story broke):

http://www.nfl.com/nflnetwork/story/8200524

The Eagles welcomed wide receiver Terrell Owens to Philadelphia after he had worn out his welcome in San Francisco.

The Patriots welcomed problem running back Corey Dillon to New England after all the problems he had caused in Cincinnati.

And look at where this all led -- right to trouble for other NFL teams. Both teams that meshed its personalities with more questionable ones wound up in Jacksonville and Super Bowl XXXIX.
Now, this move is nothing new for the Raiders, who\'ve famously courted players who just can\'t seem to fit in anywhere else. But one wonders if even the Raiders can put up with Moss. Time will tell...
