There's a better chance of us getting an impact player like a "Kalil Mack" if we draft earlier though.

There's actually people that want the team to lose out so we draft higher. It's insane.

I know it sounds like a weak argument, but Tampa tanked a few years back and they are 7-4 now.

It may not be everyone's view and I'm not going to try to convince you of anything as its my opinion, but the season and team are done at this point. If we can land a stud LB or DE with an early pick that will impact our future, losing the last 4 games wouldn't hurt me any more than the whole season already has.

Do you really think there's an "impact player" in next year's draft that's so awesome that he'll come in and the Saints will just start winning?

Diz you're cool and all but cmon man. That's crazy. Look at the ****in Browns. Thet constantly draft top 5 and never can get anyone to do that.. and they have several top 5 or 10 draft picks on their team! They still suck. Know why? Because of the coaching carousel and inconsistencies they have from top to bottom.

That's why I dont care if we draft 10 or 20 or whatever. And that's also the reason I don't want to lose our coach. All I gotta think about is Cleveland. Ick. No thanks.

The Bucs also hired Mike Smith as their DC, their Defense has stiffened
they are rated 22 were at 26. Offense they are 12 and we are 1.

I would love to finish strong. Bring in more viable FA's that want to win.

Reality though is we need picks. A real tank RB, not some 220lb finesse wanna be pounder like Ingram. He's ok but we need a Blount style runner than can shove it at the goal line or bust one. Ingram and Hightower are not those backs.

Focus on ONE side of the line. I would go offense. Give Brees all the time in the world to inflict damage. If you can't get to him he will destroy you is how I see it. Even with his weak arm.

I've wanted a sledge hammer for years now to compliment our air attack. I think Ingram is a pretty decent back but add a Lynch type to go along with Ingram and fix the RG position and draft a RT for Strief to groom ,it gets extreamly strong. I'm not a big fan of Fleener and wish we had a better option at TE also. I'm not getting started on the D yet, I still believe there is a coaching flaw there.
