Though Mickey Loomis, New Orleans\' GM, could not be reached for comment, one Saint insider was quoted as saying, \"Mickey is pleased with the deal. We got about all we could get for Darren and we free up space [under the cap].\"

This was kind of suspect...should have known. Loomis or any other insider would\'ve never said \"we got about all we could get for Darren\". Shows weakness.

If all they could get for DH was a 3rd in next year\'s draft, then this cements my belief that our front office is an inept group of morons......circus chimps could run a team better than this, at least they might have gotten a bag of peanuts thrown in there for good measure :casstet:

Danno, the long standing Optimism Coordinator, advised there was no truth to the rumor and that even the village idiot would know the only over-priced player the Saints would remotely entertain a 3rd rounder for is the often over-hyped stat padding QB Aaron Brooks.
