Saints are picking up draft skills

What? No comments? Where\'s the love? Top 10?
Where\'s all the talent bashers to poo-poo this stat?
If you haven\'t noticed I haven\'t been laying blame on the talent in recent months.
Actually I think this proves my point. This statistic further illustrates the poor job of coaching done over the last several years. There is no other way to look at it. Our coaching staff underachieved for the last 3 years.
Dude, it\'s like you\'re reading my mind!

Here\'s what I hope:
1. It was mainly Venturi and McCarthy\'s fault. McCarthy is now gone and Venturi has been replaced as kindly as anyone I can ever remember. I guess he still has pictures somewhere.
Has to. The continuation of the tenure of Venturi\'s total ineptitude is flat appaling.
2. Haslett has finally grown enough as a HC to take the bull by the horns and be the coach we thought we were getting his 1st year.
My jury is still out on that one. The HC I want would have gotten Venturi as far away from his players as humanly possible.

Venturi should be staffing the taco stand on the Space Station...

Now both are probably overly-optimistic but a guy can still hope, eh?
True. We still need a home run with the #16 and #40 picks on Saturday/ Nothing short of a stud LB and a stud OT (will maybe two stud LB) will satisfy me.

I\'d also be thrilled if we could squeeze out another #2 (or even better a #2 and a need filling player) for Howard.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

We would need far superior talent to overcome our coaching, which we don\'t have,
Which we desparately need.

or far superior coaches for the talent we do have, and we don\'t. [/quote:3551b0d4aa]

Some definitely co signage on the above statement. Perfectly put.

It\'s the reason that maybe, just maybe, the FO should put together a package and trade up for a super stud. Superior talent to overcome mediocre coaching.
