The deal, scuttled at the last minute, was this: New Orleans Saints wide receiver Brandin Cooks in exchange for Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins, a third-round pick and two fourth-rounders.

Oh and despite my dislike for the Patriots and not being exactly crazy about the Philly Fans I was definitely pulling for Jenkins tonight.

Brutal hit .. legal but brutal. Cooks had bad field awareness & left himself exposed. Take a page out of Issac Bruce/Torry Holt route tree... know when to go down.

I wonder if Payton gets suspended for Jenkins' hit on Cooks. Clearly it stemmed from Bountygate.

I'll take Ramczyk over Cooks any day. Ramczyk is a lunch pail kind of guy who works hard and gets the job done. Thomas made Cooks expendable.

Hope he is ok.

Cook's field awareness is one of the reasons we traded him. He's not a bad player, but he's also not a great runner after the catch. It nearly got him killed.
