It won’t be this season. He’s going to need a year on the practice squad. Sounds like he has the mental makeup to handle what’s going to be thrown at him.

Going to be hard just making the squad. I could see a normal NFL red shirt first year on IR upcoming.

He can probably make the roster. He needs work blocking but catching and route running he seems to have those skills. Would not be the first time a TE made this roster that was a poor blocker.
