LSU TE Foster Moreau

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; ... should we? Yes, I know LSU and all that. But his numbers don't lie. Measured in at 6’4”, 253 lbs Ran a 4.66 and a 36.5 vertical...

Hell yea. IMHO, LSU did not go to him enough. But when they did, he delivered.

With Pick No. 62?

I don't think so - he doesn't have a history of production to justify our only pick in the front half of the draft...

His ability to train intensely and perform as he did is impressive - but it'd be nice if he had more film showing he can get it done as our starting TE...

Kind of slow off the line, and his route running needs fine tuning. Against the tougher competition ... disappeared.

I believe Foster is a day 3 or later draft selection.

I agree with ya K I think we can get him in the 5th. Use the 2nd for the best OT or WR available.

You just never know though ... I'm not the biggest fan of LSU Coach "O"who at times I thought never utilized Foster to his strengths/skill set last season.

With the right NFL coaching, he could become a stud of a TE like 2018 All Pro/rookie George Kittle (slid to the 5th round) of San Fran.

LSU Pro Day is 3/22.

Any one want to bet $100 that we won't draft him?

I might take that bet if Payton's entire history with LSU were the opposite of what it is.
