Did not focus on him, but did see him practicing with the OL group. He had no trouble crossing the field with the rest of the team. It was embarrassing/troubling for Peat to look that gassed/lazy.

My observations:

Peat looks big and out of shape, maybe lazy. He struggled with the conditioning, did not even cross the field from sideline to sideline, the only one not to do it on the whole team.

W h o D a t !
I noticed that, too, last week. He appeared lazy but I gave him the benefit of the doubt since it was the 1st practice. But this is still going on so can't help but be a bit disturbed. Maybe he's pacing himself, but dang, the optics suck.

Well, it is Yulman stadium... but come on. It even drizzled just enough to cool things down.

Smash,

Your thoughts on Latavius Murray? Did he move as though he's 100% ?

Yeah... he's good to go. And he can catch very nicely and is a big target. It'll be a good tandem with Kamara. Ozigbo too, IMHO. They are going to have to stash him somehow.

Last night on WWL, Bobby Hebert echoed some of what you stated. His lower body movement has been lethargic, slow footwork and was beaten consistently by Davenport when he moved over to tackle. If and when Terron goes down, Andrus is a guy you don't want protecting Drew's blind side.

He's been an average player who's biggest value is playing multiple positions.

Get it together. Texans game is only a month away.

Peat has to get off his asre . He wouldn’t be worth trade bait if he’s mailed it in. But like ur saying got a month.
