It's my fault

Guys, I am sorry. The Saints tanked the last two seasons and it is obviously my fault. I am obviously the jinx. Why you ask? I'll tell you.

DePaul University (my alma mater) was expected to finish last in their division of Conference USA this year. However, just a couple of weeks ago they were 16-8 with an RPI of 36th. It was fairly widely accepted that they needed 18 wins to get into the NCAA tournament. They ended the season by losing their last three games. Their RPI dropped to 51st.

Today, in the first round of the CUSA tournament (where they still needed only two wins to get in), they were ceded 7th and playing the 10 cede - South Florida. South Florida was up by something like 15 in the first ten minutes. However DePaul came roaring back and was up by as many as 6 with only four or five minutes left in the second half. Of course, they found a way to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory and lost by two, basically assuring themselves of no NCAA bid.

Sound familiar? It's all my fault guys. I am sorry for the pain I have caused us all over the last two years. :casstet:
