I hope those guys mentioned in my earlier post prove me wrong. I could be completely inaccurate here but I don't believe good defensive coordinators are losing any rest game planning for Austin Carr. There is no depth on the roster right now.

Lord help us if Thomas ever gets dinged up.
Agreed. Payton saw something in Tre'Quan in the third round and Payton has stayed the course with Ted Ginn, despite publicly criticizing his route running...

But signing another injured, over-the-hill bad option (Dez Bryant) to replace a poor-performing over-the-hill option (Ted Ginn) seems about as productive as two monkeys f*cking a basketball...

This is where I hammer my point that Terry Fontenot needs to geaux and we should have identified a better veteran option to pair as a contingency with Tre'Quan Smith...

While I love out the box thinking and really liked the idea of using the Tight End as a complementary option to @CantGuardMike, the Jared Cook signing at this point has been uneventful and may be consequential...

Label me a Dez hater, or neaux, there's nothing I've seen in those clips to move me from my position that'd he bring his early career explosiveness that would be better than what we have now...

This situation that is limiting the offense is another off-season failure and will likely result in Payton and Mickster overpaying, again, for someone like an A.J. Green...

Since the Cowboys aren't running away with the NFC East, Philly's still in it so Goedert is off the table. Miami isn't going to trade rookie contracts so Gesicki isn't an option. Humpty Dumpty is tougher than the Bengals' Tyler Eifert...

Not a lot of options with the deadline approaching...

SP evidently still doesn't like LSU players... whereTF is Grayson? At least he scares people with his speed.

LMAO .. nice one JP .

Diggs, Emmanuel Sanders and AJ Green are open options.

FWIW, Trequan was on that Wednesday injury report. Possibly one less WR option heading into Sunday's game against the Jags .

Is it safe to assume that if Thomas and Kamara are on the field they are your primary coverage concern? Double Thomas, next best on Kamara...

Here is my glaring question to the whole crowd.. Same receivers as last year and didnt need a #2. We won a Super Bowl in 2009 without what was considered a #1WR or a legit #2..

I am not entirely convinced WR is where our problem is...

YES a #2 would be fantastic! Just see that we have other things going on. For instance, not being able to protect our QB so that he can make use of a #2

Precisely why going with a cheaper more hungry WR may have been a better move than keeping Ginn or GlassHaus Kirkwood.

Colston, Henderson, Moore, B Meachem & Shockey were threats at the wide out position & a huge reason why we were 2009 juggernauts.

2019 #3, 4 WR guys scare no one.

Pass. Wish him well. Jerry Rice is still in great shape but his time as a NFL WR has long passed. Just like Bryant's.

Not in 2009 brother. Colston was in his 4th year and had just come off starting only 6 games in 2008 and a sleeper, Lance Moore only played 1/2 the 2009 season, Hendersons speed was always a concern but not on anyones radar as anythong other than a one trick pony (deep threat).

2009 was Drew's lowest passing season in a decade 2006-2016 4,388

Everyone else has 0 Targets and you have no chance to catch what isn't thrown to you.

Are we to expect that only Ginn/CGM can get open?

Drew is known for spreading the ball, TB isnt. Personally, I am going to wait until Drew is back before I pass judgement on WRs that arent having balls thrown at them.
I'm pretty sure those numbers resemble last year numbers with drew
