The offense regardless of scoring TD'S are whatever in the 1st quarter at least held the ball for long strecthes in time of possession, so no bull should be allowed in why your defense can't stop the opponent.

This is a flat out lie and shows you prob did not watch ONE Saints game last year. The offense CONSISTENTLY went three and out not only in the 1st quarter, but the FIRST HALF. They were ranked TWENTY NINTH in the league in TOP so that right there proves you 100% false. And the defense gave them a top 10 number of turnovers. Try to at least have a semblance of truth when you rant. Here it is so you can have a look for yourself. I already sorted it for you:

No, I directly asked you did he get better, or was his performance a direct result of the team getting better? You automatic put a team doing well with a QB doing well, and they don't go together...Ala your boy 15fumbles/19TD'S/16 INT'S.

Brees finally had a good year, 1 mind you only one! Was it him or was it LT and a slew of first round picks on defense and a weak schedule?

What? San Diego was picked to be LAST in the NFL again by every expert alive. They did not improve their offensive line at all. Trust me, it was Drew Brees. Or at least he was the main reason. LT has been LT for 4-5 years now. He didn;t do anything he hadn't done previosuly, and even did less cause like a year or two ago, he caught 100 passes. Their receivers were no name times 3 until thet got McCardell after week 6. All they had was Gates.

And I am still waiting for one good year from AB. ONE.

And why do you sweat Jake so much? You are sweating him having the same numbers in his FIRST year as a starter as AB in his 5th? Nice. Good call on that one. What did he do in his second year with a third of the team? Tell me what he did in the Superbowl, against NE, what even Peyton hasn't been able to do? Shine. Get off his jock.

Carolina 29:56
Indy 28:40
Philly 28:26
NewO 28:18

Forgive me but a few seconds, you honestly tried to show me up by posting a stat that showed we were a few seconds off from the Superbowl participant and your God Peyton?

hahahahahahahahaha. What? How many points a game did Indy and Philly score? Did they have a problem getting a simple FIRST DOWN for 3/4 of the season in the first quarter? Indy had to outscore every team they played, and the majority of the time it worked. To even try to put our offense in the same league as those two teams makes you look foolish. I don't know again why I bother. Please argue with someone else. I am not getting anything out of this, and I am in a seriously bad mood cause of this hurricane. Consider this my final word to you.

And I am still waiting for one good tear from AB. ONE.

I could careless where the media picked SanDiego to finish, I do know what they play as far as schedules go, last place. And mind you AB had his good year in 2000 when we played a last placed schedule. Remember I got you on that before...And I don't sweat Jake at all, you were the one in here all offseason ranting on and on and on about him, are have you developed amnesia? And needless of you to forget but Jake has been playing Professional ball a lot longer than AB. NFL Europe, Ditka and his Staff and then Haslett's Staff...Bang!

I can't believe you not only said this, but believe it. Any of it. I am in shock. I could rip this apart, but I figure if I ignore you, you will go away. Please go away. Nothing comes of arguing with you, and you have no idea what you are talking about. You are the same guy who said our playoff win means ZERO, cause of our schedule back then, were wrong about the amount of playoff teamson it, and now say AB had a good year in 2000 cause he piggy backed a 7-3 record into the playoffs. Do you actually believe any of this? Never mind. Rhetorical.

Anyone who understands the fundimentals of an NFL quarterback, what they are, and how a quarterback should act accordingly, should completely understand why Saints' fans do not like Aaron Brooks.

End of discussion.

BoudinSandwich 08-29-2005 12:39 AM

I, personally, have spoken nothing of the way Brooks "acts" off of the field or even on the sidelines. I only pay attention to what he does while under center. The way he plays his position are not correct. I'm done with this argument for a while. There is simply no more to discuss.

Smart move Oldies. When you argue with logic, and get babble in return, it only tends to frustrate you even more. Just like they say in horror movies about ghosts, ignore it and maybe it will go away.

I am sorry I thought this was a thread about the first play from scrimmage for the Saints Ravens game.
