Ok Oak I have to blame this one on you. You put that clip of Boba Fetts death o. A post about PT & it got me thinking....
Damn that third (for people my age) Star Wars movie sucked.
Yes there were a few good moments...
Princess Leia in the good bikini certainly stands out.
BUT let's weigh it again t the bad.
Boba Fetts death - really? The most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy become a burp for a giant mouth.
BUT the worst & I mean most disappointing thing in a movie EVER...
Teddy Bears. What were they ewoks or some damn thing. Frippen teddy bears in costumes that looked like cheap carpet.
The second movie The Empire Strikes Back is arguably the BEST sequel of all time.
I was 12 when the first movie came out & almost 15 for the second. SO as a 17 year me & all my similar aged friends really expected something momentous.
You know what we got. We got frippen teddy bears.

Yeah, I agree, I was expecting something really big from "Return of the Jedi" and was disappointed with the Ewoks ... reminded me too much of 'Gremlins' for some reason. My fanship of Star Wars never really recovered after that episode and I've only followed it loosely since,
