Boycot the NFL yet again in 2018? My Response to Hagan's Question

I haven't purchased any new NFL products since this began with that marginal quarterback...
I truly take the words to heart - "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it" - Evelyn Beatrice Hall, Friends of Voltaire
But to hijack the game and be disrespectful to the country and the people that are remembered in those few minutes before the game is selfish, egocentric...
If these players have strong feelings on these matters, voice those opinions, demonstrate in a civil manner in venues of their own making, with their financial resources...
and not those provided by other teammates whom they share the field, nor owners who provide them from the funds of fans whose make it possible...
To hijack the game that has enriched them personally from the same people they wish to point the finger to is hypocritical, selfishly egotistical.
If they truly feel they have a following to advance their platform, why not discuss it after the game, or hold a Monday Morning Press Conference...
Hell, they're "dead periods' during the NFL season where beat reporters are looking for anything, why not then?
Better still, those disenfranchised players should boycott the game, refuse to play, refuse to take money from a game, its people and country they accuse of racism.
Not even a little sacrifice, like declining the proceeds from their jersey sales, Pre-tax, so they're not able to claim tax deductions...
Make a true, meaningful sacrifice that affects them personally.
The Advertisers/Big Networks corporate oligarchy have insulated themselves with ratings systems that manipulate viewing data...
...all to deflect viewer consumers' displeasure so they're not directly accountable.
There's no longer a direct corrective action available to remedy that situation...
I love the game, love to be here with each of you discussing Saints football...
But if a few players continue to hijack those few minutes that pay respect to our country and those that have sacrificed for it, they will be surprised as Hillary was last November...

Why do I have a feeling the NFL will get this all wrong and do whatever to fold to pressure.
