LSU wins again, men & woman
OK, we beat Duke #1, then Texas, a #2 seed, we beat both teams that no one would have ever thought we could do, I'm thinking champions now, I know it's still early to say that but I don't see anybody stopping us at this point, we haven't been to the Final Four in 20 years, it's the Tigers turn to be champion.
Oh, let's not forget about the lady Tigers. they are pretty good too, what are the chances of both the men and woman being National Champions?, I'm sure it's not good but fun to think about Go Tigers |
Rest In Peace JoeSam, thanks for everything my friend.

Gandhi...
This isn't the same Tiger team we saw in regular season, these guys came up to the plate if you will as of late, I say, bring it Gators, we beat a very good Texas team yesterday not to mention we beat Duke who no one gave us a chance at winning, something is going on with the Tigers that I haven't seen in a long time, these guys seem to refuse to lose, and that could bring us far. I think both Davis and Thomas are pushing the other guys to play well, these two guys are the leaders of the Tigers if you ask me. |

Man, I never really paid that much attention to LSU this year and I am sorry I didn't these guys know when to kick it in gear. Who loves the Baby, another Barkley and can shot the 3. Damn exciting game yesterday and I don't see anyone stopping them now.

LTF, I look for us to put some boot to a** against UCLA if the refs don't try to take Big Baby & Tyrus out of the game with ticky-tack fouls (the way they did in the Duke game). UCLA is a west coast media magnet with big name alumni, so I'm sure we will have to beat them outright the way we did Duke. That said, I look for us to win. Hell, even Dick Vital picked us to win & he never picks LSU! The next game is where I'll be nervous. Florida or UConn both have 3 big guys with ups. I hope it's Florida, because we owe those sons of b**ches! The last time we played them we were without Tyrus Thomas.

gandhi
I heard when Dick picked LSU, to be honest with you I want us to play Florida, my brother-in-Law is from Jacksonville who lived here where I'm from for about 5 years before moving back, he hates LSU, the ppl. of Louisiana, the food etc., you see where I'm going with this?, you see this is now personal for me, I WANT FLORIDA'S BUTT, we have a good chance to beat them, oh how sweet it would be if we beat them. If we beat them I will have a long distance call that will last about an hour, me and brother-in-law will have a lot to discuss. (smile) |

RE: Re: RE: Re: LSU wins again, men & woman
Gotta love it..
I remember when the Gators (football) were ranked 1st. or 2nd and we beat them on a Saturday night, we were ranked like 17th I believe, this was in 95-96, I placed a call to Jacksonville but had no answer, he was home at the time I tried calling, it's their turn to "eat crow", I know I had my share of crow. On women basketball my heart stopped when Seimone fell to the floor grabbing her ankle, I was like OMG but the good news is she's ok, Is Pokey doing a great job coaching or what?, hell of a coach, she's hard on the girls but they respect her for it and beleive in her which will take them far into the Finals, I hope anyway. |
