what about the non-call of pass interference on auburn in the endzone at the end of the first half. That kinda reffing is what you expect out of partisan high school ball.

Don't get me started, the pass interference took place before the tip ball..
If the call was made LSU wins the game....

It reminded me of Super Bowl XL. It's a damn shame when a football game is decided by the refs instead of by players. I should of known by the head ref's accent that we were going to be in for a rough day. "Hi...I'm Billy Joe. I like NASCAR & I'll be your head referee for today. Your other refs are Merle, Jethro, & Buford." It's cool though.....Auburn has to come to "Death Valley" next year & we will make sure that there are four coon-ass refs calling the game.

lsu should (and will) use this game as motivation to finish out the season strong... if we win all of our games we should get a bcs bid, considering we were one lousy call away from beating #3 at home....

Our roomfull of people said the SAME exact thing when hearing the refs accent. We were playing against Auburn and the refs.

If anyone can find where to write the SEC about the refs please pass it along. I would say it made me more ashamed of the SEC on a whole knowing the whole nation was watching. Like, Oh, they still do it that way down there.

*Looks at the title of the Post*

*Steps back, and looks one more time*

*Pictures the thought of the Tigers having a money shot at the end of the game*

Nah, nevermind

I looked up the rule on tipped passes & according to the rule......if the ball is tipped at the line of scrimmage, then it is not pass interference. That ball was tipped downfield & the "mugging" occurred before the tip. Good call Billy Joe......good call.

I know I'm going to catch heat for this, but has anyone noticed how much Russell looks, thows and plays like Aaron Brooks? Even his decision-making is a reminder of that smiling clown, taking a sack with no time-outs left instead of throwing it out of bounds, throwing it to a receiver outside of the endzone with no time left. One moment he looks like an all-american and the next he makes you want to scream. And the touch he has on the ball, a hundred miles an hour to a receiver 10 yards across the line, dang, he even has the same number! When I watch the LSU games I have that same feeling in the pit of my stomach like I used to have when I watched Brooks leading the Saints. That being said, geaux Tigers, geaux Saints!
